Good for families, some small issues

We took the kids on the Dolphin Encounter. The experience itself was wonderful, the trainers were patient, and the kids really enjoyed it. Transportation from the hotel was punctual. My only gripe was the photography package; it felt a bit overpriced, even for good photos. Still, a solid option for families.

Always a great experience

Booked the Rhythms of the Night show again, and it was just as magical as the first time. Love the consistency; they always deliver. Pick-up was smooth, and the food was good. This is why we keep coming back.

Marietas Islands Snorkeling trip

I booked the Marietas Islands Snorkeling trip online a few weeks ago. The website was pretty straightforward for booking, though I did have a quick question about the meeting point, which customer service answered promptly via email within a few hours. Check-in at the marina was efficient, no long waits. The boat ride out was smooth, and the guides were knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. We saw lots of cool fish while snorkeling, and the equipment provided was clean and fit well. The lunch they served on the boat was basic but fresh, totally hit the spot after swimming. My only minor suggestion would be to have a bit more shade available on the boat for those sensitive to the sun. Overall, a really well-organized and enjoyable day trip.

Do I need to bring my own snorkel gear or do they provide it for tours like Marietas Islands?

A Adam D. 3 weeks ago
They provide it for sure. No need to pack your own unless you're super particular about your mask.

Mine was included in the Marietas tour. Finns, mask, snorkel, all there. They clean it between uses obviously.

Hey, does Vallarta Adventures offer hotel pickup? Staying a bit out of the way.

L Leah Wright 2 weeks ago
Yep, usually from most major hotels. You'll specify it when you book, they have a list.

R Richard N. 2 weeks ago
They do, but sometimes there's a central meeting point if your hotel is really far out. Just confirm when you book.

Is Vallarta Adventures reliable? Like, I'm going in July, if it rains, do they just cancel or what?

S Sofia Garcia 5 days ago
They usually have a rain plan, like they'll offer to reschedule or give a refund. Happened to my friend on a snorkeling trip, they were pretty good about it.

K Karen R. 4 days ago
I went during a rainy period once and they still ran the tour, just adapted a bit. They don't just ditch you unless it's genuinely unsafe, afaik.

Can you use more than one promo code at checkout? Like if I have an early bird and a newsletter one?

O Olivia Gomez 1 month ago
Nah, usually it's one code per booking. Most places are like that online.

R Rachel Lopez 1 month ago
I tried that once, didn't work. It's usually just one discount at a time. The system only lets you enter one code, afaik.

Are there any group discounts for the zip lining tour? Got a bunch of us going.

M Melissa Jackson 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they definitely do group rates. Worth checking their site or giving them a call, the discount can be pretty good for larger parties.

O Olivia T. 2 weeks ago
I know they do combo deals if you're booking multiple activities, and I've seen group discounts mentioned too. Try to bundle if you can.

If I book a tour, can I cancel it later if my plans change? What's their cancellation policy like?

J James Nelson 4 weeks ago
I canceled a dolphin swim last minute and got most of my money back. They have different tiers depending on how close to the date you cancel, so check the details.

B Betty Rodriguez 4 weeks ago
Yeah, they're pretty clear about cancellations. Usually, a few days in advance gets you a good refund, but closer to the date it might be less or a credit. Always read the fine print.

Hey, thinking about doing the Rhythms of the Night show. Are there usually any promo codes floating around for that one?

A Alex D. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I always see something for Rhythms. Check their site directly, sometimes it's just on the booking page.

M Megan D. 3 weeks ago
My buddy got a decent deal for Rhythms last year, I think it was an early bird thing. Like, book super far out.

Trying to decide between Vallarta Adventures and Cabo Adventures for my trip. Has anyone done both and can compare them?

A Anthony Scott 2 days ago
Totally different vibes. Vallarta Adventures feels a bit more polished and has a wider range of activities in my experience. Cabo Adventures is cool too, but I preferred the options in PV.

B Brian T. 1 day ago
Honestly, depends on what you wanna do. If you're looking for Rhythms of the Night specifically, that's Vallarta. For general adventure, they're both solid, but Vallarta has some unique stuff.
